True Friend

What a blessing true friends are! We are so thankful for Alexa and Chloe and the friendships that were formed when they lived in Indy. Since you guys have moved, it's not the same here in Tanglewood! We love you and miss you!

Barbies Everywhere!

This morning the girls and I headed to the mall to find swimsuits. Then, we came home with 3 extra kiddos in tow for a playdate. While mom and dad unpacked boxes at their new house, Ashton, Faith, and Trinity came over to play with the girls for the afternoon. They had a blast playing Barbies for hours! 5 girls, 3 dollhouses, and a trillion Barbies (plus accessories) and you have a Barbie community!

Relaxing Weekend

This weekend was uneventful for our family. We enjoyed every minute of it! Friday we hung out with some friends. Saturday we slept in (yeah!), had buttermilk pancakes with choc. chips (new recipe I tried- yummy!) went to the local Farmer's Market, took a family walk, and swam at the pool! Sunday we worshipped in God's house and heard 2 wonderful messages! Praise God for being so clear in speaking to us. After church, we went out to eat with some good friends from church, but I had to leave early to go home because of a migraine, which did not pass until 10 pm. Sorry guys for bailing on you! Jason and their family went to the pool to swim while I slept it off. Not a great end to the weekend, but God is still good!

New Look!

We've got a new look! I have to vary what I can in my life. Since everything else is so monotonous, this is not going to be! Sorry for those who will have to learn a new page...

TGIF

The girls had a playdate in the morning with our new neighbor friend. They played for hours! Then, we went to the Sullivan's house for dinner, part of our "Socials for 6" group with church. The kids had a great time hanging out, though it was HOT! Immediately after dinner, we received a phone call from another friend in our class that was on the way to the ER with her son. So, the women met her there to help out with her other child. Crazy night! Sorry, no pictures this time.

Alabama

We went to Alabama this weekend to see our long time friends, the Crisman's. We had a great time swimming in their pool, watching movies, hanging out, and drinking coffee of course! While we were there, we celebrated Sonya's birthday! We were finally able to meet her sister and her husband after all these years. We also attended their church, Meadowbrook Baptist, while we were there. It's always a treat to see how God is using Brian and Sonya there in mighty ways! Thanks for opening your home to us for the weekend! Love you guys!

July 4th Weekend

The girls are getting ready to jump in and swim off the back of Mamaw Jennifer's boat! Fun!

Dad playing Guitar Hero III - He was actually really good!
We all sat around playing Guitar Hero III on the Wii in the basement of the lake house. Kaylen got it as a gift for her birthday from Mamaw & Papaw. It was a lot of fun learning how to play! Even the little girls got in on the action!

July 4th Weekend

We stayed at Nana and Grampa's house for the night in Louisville. We celebrated Aunt Amy's birthday while we were there. The girls had a great time making crafts with Nana.

Then, we went to the movies and met Ryan, Sharpay,Chad, and Taylor! Can you believe we saw them there? We were so lucky to get a picture with them!

Cousins visit

Kaylen, Macie, Anna came to visit for several days at the beginning of the week. All the girls had a great time together!

Sunday at church we had a VBS Family Night. The girls were having fun jumping!

We met Angie and Mamaw Jennifer halfway to take the cousins back. We did some shopping at the Edinburgh outlets before parting ways. All the girls took a trip into Claire's Boutique and found lipgloss. They were having fun primping when they got the chance!

VBS Musical- Outrigger Island

Our girls performed their VBS Musical on Sunday morning. It brings tears to my eyes seeing all those little children praising the Lord. They are so enthusiastic about it too! We adults could probably learn some things from them.
