The girls playset and our patio canopy were damaged during a 15 minute storm a couple of days ago. We took pics for the insurance company. We're not sure if it was straight line winds or a small touchdown. Either way, their playset is going to have to be fixed or replaced. (grrr)

The wind actually inverted the metal canopy poles. They were going up like a dome...almost like an umbrella turned out from the wind. Crazy weather...

Let's Go Fly a Kite! (insert: Mary Poppins music)

Girls had fun flying their kites. Then, we decided to move to the front yard to fly them, and Mariah's got stuck in a tree. The wind kept it up and we couldn't get to it. Jason got a ladder and found a pole long enough to reach it...barely!

Steve and Grace (Grampa and Nana) came to stay this weekend at our house, along with Aunt Amy, Uncle Dwight and Olivia. We had a great time just hanging out. The girls visited IKEA for some shopping fun while the guys went to some Hobby stores. It was Steve and Dwight's birthday on Saturday. Happy Birthday Uncle Dwight and Grampa!
