Mariah decided to use her new "Little House on the Prairie"craft book. The book is filled with all kinds of crafts that Laura Ingalls and her mother would have made in that time period. The craft that caught Mariah's eye was the straw hat for her baby doll.Here she is braiding the straw (raffia) and will eventually wrap it to look like a hat. She's so creative! (and certainly didn't get it from me)
The girls received "Dancing with the Stars" Wii game for Christmas from Nana and Grampa. So, J and Madi learned together last night how to play. It's great exercise, but if you're the one watching.. it's even more entertaining! Ha Ha! The judges, Carrie Ann, Len and Bruno are tough, but they scored a 28/30! More dancing fun is sure to come!
